Ellie and Sasha are now 6 months
old. They were both spayed today....
we love our puppies. Attached is a
recent picture of Ellie. Ellie loves to
follow me every where I go, she is
always on my feet! She loves to walk
herself on the leash (she holds it in
her mouth as we walk) and jumps
into the water the minute the pool is
open... I will have to send you
pictures of her and Sasha (her sister)
jumping in the pool. They are such a
joy and we are loving every minute of
their puppy stage. They definitely are
trouble when they are together ;)

Hi Robin,
I wanted to give you an update on Lucy. She is wonderful! She
graduated from puppy training with flying colors back in July and
she's been completely housebroken since May. She's dainty,
we're thinking that she'll be more on the small side. She doesn't
even bark, just makes little whining noises when she needs to
go out. My kids love her so much. She's my 3 year old son's
best friend. We took her on her first road trip back in July and
everyone who met her was so shocked that she was so well
behaved. Once again, thank you so much for raising such a
wonderful puppy for us.

We are so happy that he was
the last one left out of the litter
because I promise you nobody
got one out of that litter that is
as good as this one. House
training was over in the first
two days, he will sit, lay down,
stay, and shake your hand on
command. Like I told you we
have always had labs and they
have all been good, smart
dogs but this boy is heads
above them at this age.
From the first vet check visit (
he was 12lbs) it was 3 weeks
to the next vet visit he gained
14lbs. I think he is going to be
a big dog....

Hello Robin,
I just wanted to check in and tell you about
Gunner. He has been such a joy in our
family! He is now 11 months old and a great
dog. In the winter months he loved to go
check cattle with me and run around,
especially in the snow! Now that it is nice
out, we go on walks every morning. He is a
very obedient and loving dog, with a
hilarious personality. His drive for retrieving
is great. Last Wednesday Gunner was able
to go on his very first hunt. We were able to
harvest 40 dove and 11 of them ended up in
the pond. Gunner retrieved every one of
them out of the water! I had been working
with him with a dummy and .22 blanks with
great success, but this was the first true test.
He passed with flying colors! Primarily he is
a companion, but will also get to go hunting
with me every chance we get. Also, during
the summer months we bought an 8’ stock
tank to put in the back yard for his swimming
pool. He will spend hours at a time jumping
in and out of the stock tank then brining me
his favorite toy like he is saying “Look what I
can do dad!”. Like I said, Gunner is a joy in
my family and my soon to be Fiancé thinks
gunner needs a little sister. We will have to
see when that day comes. Thanks for
providing us with such a great pup!

little girl. We named her Heidi because it is
one of the only names our daughter could
say very well. She is very well mannered
and already knows "sit" and "outside" very
well. She is potty training and doing great so
far. We tried to crate train her at night but
she made it very clear she preferred a
sleeping companion so she sleeps in bed
with us. She enjoys naps with my daughter
during the day as well. I will send you more
updates as Heidi progresses. Thank you so
much for this amazingly well behaved and
socialized puppy! We will be sure to
recommend you to anyone looking to
purchase a golden in the future!

she was pronounced perfect. We are
mastering the art of housebreaking, and she
is doing very well. When we say "let's go
pee pee" she runs to the door and waits for
her leash. Last night she went to the door,
and barked. Looks like she has the idea. I
am attaching some pictures recently taken,
and will do so as she get bigger.
